Day 1: Marrakech → Ait Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate → Dades Gorges

The first stop is the historic Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site perched on the Ounila Valley’s heights. Enjoy stunning views of ochre villages, abandoned kasbahs, orchards, and Ksours. After a leisurely lunch at the Kasbah, continue to Ouarzazate, often called the gateway to the desert and the “Hollywood of Africa.” Here, visit the museum and cinema studio to learn about Morocco’s cinematic history. From Ouarzazate, head to Dades Gorge via the picturesque Kelaat-Megouna, also known as the “Rose City,” and the stunning Valley of Roses.
