Day 1: Marrakech → Ait Ben Haddou → Zagora
The tour begins with a pick-up from your Marrakech accommodation at 7:00 AM. Travel through the scenic Tichka Pass, offering spectacular views of the Berber villages nestled in the Atlas Mountains. Stop at Tichka for some photos before heading to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou. Explore this ancient fortified village, known for its unique architecture and appearances in famous films. After a delicious lunch in Ouarzazate, continue your journey to Zagora, crossing the Draa Valley via Tizi N’tanifeft and the village of Agdz. Travel through the famous Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs until you reach Zagora. Upon arrival, enjoy a traditional mint tea at your hotel before embarking on a camel ride to your desert bivouac.
